Huddersfield vs Manchester United: Preview, Team News and Betting Odds

A win will take United top of the table if City loose at home against Burnley.

Manchester United will make a trip to West Yorkshire as they will face Huddersfield in the Premier League this Saturday. Jose Mourinho’s men who are two points off the top, will be eyeing to continue their unbeaten run to the season, most preferably with a win.

United boss Jose Mourinho should be thinking nothing less than three points in this game. United have started superbly but still find themselves two points behind rivals Manchester City. Dropping any points against Huddersfield will be disappointing for the Red Devils.

On the other hand The Terriers will be eyeing to contain the United attack and come away with a point on Saturday. Five of the Huddersfield players were booked last week at South Wales and their manager David Wagner should take about discipline in the team meetings. Also they are without a win in five matches and will be trying to overturn that run.

Injury and Team News:

Huddersfield will be missing Kasey Palmer and Michael Hefele while Colin Quaner is also doubtful. But the hosts will be optimistic about Mounie recovering from his heel injury and feature against united. Billing is also out with an ankle problem. Aaron Mooy may return to the starting line-up, the midfielder came on in the second half in their loss at Swansea.

United themselves have many injury woes as Marcus Rojo, Marouane Fellaini and Eric Bailly all will take no part this week. Paul Pogba is also short for the trip and Marcus Rashford may well be missing. Vincent Lindelof played on Wednesday against Benfica and is expected to start at John Smith’s Stadium in the absence of Phil Jones. Lukaku is expected to start up front while Martial can start as well in place of Rashford.
