Raheem Sterling was a massive part of the transfer gossips at the latter end of the summer window as the 22 year old was speculated to be part of a deal that would take Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal and his move to Arsenal. But the England winger revealed his thoughts and interest regarding that speculation.
The England man has said that he did not consider a deadline day move to Arsenal noteven for a moment, “one minute” as quoted by talkSPORT.
He added that he had spoken to Guardiola about pre season and there was no such negativity that could made him think of a possible move.

“I didn’t have any negative thoughts or anything bad about it. I just woke up one day with England and saw it, and I didn’t believe a word of it until I heard something from the manager, then I would believe it,” the former Liverpool man added.
He praised manager Pep Guardiola and termed him as an honest person, so Sterling was sure if such thing was true, Guardiola would have talked to him. So he didn’t even think about that for one minute.
Saying about his future at City the England International was quite positive about staying at the Etihad as well.
“I signed for five years here,” he said. “I’ve got two-and-a-half years left, and I see myself here and playing my football here under a great manager with a great team.”
Along with that Sterling was all in praise for the Spanish manager as he termed Guardiola being massive for his development as he makes the 22 year old do the simple things at the top level, which has immensely helped.

City though still are poised to make a move for Alexis Sanchez as the window opens in January but it is almost certain that there will be no speculation regarding Sterling’s future anymore.
