India will be up against an upbeat and rejuvenated Australia side for the T20 series decider in Hyderabad on Friday. The series is currently 1-1 and it promises to be an exciting encounter between the two champion sides at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, that hosts it’s first ever T20 international.
ICC T20 Ranks:
India : 5th
Australia : 6th
Both the teams will be eyeing a series victory and there will be a silverware to play for both Kohli and Warner’s men. While both the teams need to perform better in the shortest format of the game, a win will take India closer to the 4th spot in rankings while an Aussie victory will topple them over the Indians in the rankings.
In the previous match, Jason Behrendorff rattled the hosts batting spine and Warner will be hoping for more of the same in Hyderabad. India meanwhile need to shuffle their batting order a bit and put up a standard batting show in the crucial encounter. There is a speculation that either KL Rahul or Dinesh Karthik will get a chance in place of Manish Pandey. In terms of the bowling department, India may not give the veteran Ashish Nehra an opportunity.
The baggy Greens have found a right combination in the last match as Marcus Stoinis did a brilliant job, so they are set to name an unchanged side for the final match. David Warner will be also making a return to his home ground of IPL where he captains the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Probable Line Up:
India: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Kedar Jadhav, KL Rahul, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah
Australia: David Warner, Aaron Finch, Moises Henriques, Travis Head, Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell, Tim Paine, Andrew Tye, Nathan Coulter – Nile, Adam Zampa, Jason Behrendorff
The weather forecast is a bit worrying as thunderstorms are expected on Friday evening.
The match will be broadcast live on Star Sports 1 and the HD channel from 19.00 IST. Live streaming is available on Hotstar.
