Former Chelsea defender Alex has advised his compatriot Lucas Moura to leave PSG for Arsenal in the winter transfer window. The 35 year old wants to see Lucas in the Premier League with the Gunners.
Lucas has been a regular at PSG until this season with the additions of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, the Braizilian has seen his game time limited and has only made a couple of Ligue 1 appearances as a substitute. Lucas joined Paris as a twenty year old in January 2013 from Sao Paulo and since then has made 147 league appearances for them. But in this season he has been on the fringes and Alex has come out to take another step and join Arsenal for his better future.

The former Chelsea man also thinks that the Gunners play better football than the French giants and believes Moura’s football will improve at the Emirates.
Speaking to French sports newspaper L’Equipe, Alex said, “I would like to see him at Arsenal. They play cleaner football, more technical.”
Alex, who played with Lucas at PSG for two seasons also believes that the 25 year old had contacts with the Gunners and that will be a great option for him as the World Cup selection will be also in contention.
But Arsenal’s job will not be easy as signing him this winter will be a bit too adventurous for them. Manchester United and Inter Milan had been interested in him in the past and they may also be a factor for Arsenal if they intend to move for the 36 time Brazil international.
Sanchez is almost certain to leave Arsenal next season
On the other hand PSG may well be selling their striker Edinson Cavani and bring Alexis Sanchez at the Parc de Princes next summer. Already there has been rumors that Julian Draxler will be a part of the deal and that may stop Moura from coming at the place Alex wants.
