Manchester United academy prodigy targeted by Barcelona and Real Madrid


Manchester United’s are currently panicking over their academy wonderkid Angel Gomes as the teenager is heavily linked with Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Last season, in the last game of the season, Mourinho gave the England u18 star his Manchester United debut against Crystal Palace where they registered a 2-0 win and the England international became the youngest ever player to show up for United’s first-team aged only 16 years and 263 days.

Gomes has shown with his performance in the field to be a world beater in his academy execution at u18 in recent years and also bragged the club’s U18 player of the year, winning the Jimmy Murphy trophy. The youngster also recently scored twice a week ago against Arsenal’s u18 side to guide them to win the match 3-2 and is also in superb form this season.

Gomes who joined the United academy while at Junior school also has captained England national side at youth level and could also travel to India for the U17 England side.

The 17-year-old is yet to sign a senior contract with Manchester United and are believed to be a top target for both the La Liga clubs as they are exploring and keeping an eye on the situation constantly.

Gomes was ready to sign his first senior expert contract a month ago, however, that is yet to be concluded. Gomes still has a year left as a Scholar at United and but it is trusted that an arrangement will soon be closed.

However, until the point that a deal is marked the Red Devils fans will be a little stressed over one of their famous prospects of their foundation.
