Transfer: Swedish Star rules out Manchester United move

RB Leipzig winger Emil Forsberg has rubbished all the bits of gossip linking him with a move away from the club and recommended that he hopes to remain with the Bundesliga side at any cost for another season.

The 25-year-old has as of late been connected with a major cash move to recently refurbished Italian side AC Milan after he earlier portrayed Milan particularly as a “fabulous” club and a “fascinating venture”.

Prior this week there were also reports coursing in Italy that the Swedish universal has been specified as a potential alternative to Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic with United not meeting the Italian club’s £48 million estimates.

However, sinking every one of the gossips, Forsberg has now put down all the speculation by insisting that he just talked about the clubs in general and he has no aim of leaving the club this season as he is intending to expand Leipzig’s second position finish in the Bundesliga last season.

Forsberg said: “I only answered a journalist’s question. I would have given the same answer for Bayern Munich.”

“Milan is one of the biggest clubs in the world, along with Real [Madrid], Barcelona or Manchester United.”

Forsberg additionally reacted to the inquiry when he was asked whether his announcements had vexed his present managers in which he stated: “Why should it? What bad things did I say about Leipzig? Nothing.”

“I have always spoken positively about RB. I don’t understand the fuss. Everything is fine. I’m totally motivated and focused and ideally want to play an even better season with RB than the last one.”

Forsberg has been enjoying the best times of his life after he recorded 19 assists last season, most by any player and in addition scored eight goals.

The Swede is under contract with Leipzig until 2022 and German club’s executive Ralf Rangnick has effectively proclaimed that none of their enormous stars will leave the club this late spring.
