There has been a few departures this season so far at Arsenal. Many have left the club permanently and some have ventured new adventures only as a loanee for the upcoming season. With still many players are still poised to leave the Emirates this summer, today we shall take a look the players so far have bid adieu to the Arsenal this season.

  • Wojciech Szczesny to Juventus
    The Polish custodian has left the club on a permanent basis after his 12 years stay at the club. He has joined the Italian giants Juventus after spending two seasons on loan with another Italian outfit AS Roma. The Polish international joined Arsenal as a 16 year old and has made over 150 appearances for the North London side.

  • Glen Kamara to Dundee
    The Finland midfielder has joined the Scottish side after completing his graduation from Arsenal academy.
  • Chris Willock to Benfica
    Talented striker Chris Willock has moved to Portugal with the Portuguese giants Benfica. With the opportunity of more secured first team chances in near future, the England U19 international has committed his future with Benfica.
  • Yaya Sanogo
    The promising striker who joined Arsenal in 2013 never really made any impact in England. He managed to score only one goal for the club, that is in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund. He was released by the club following contract expiration and he has found a new home as French side Toulouse have signed him up.

  • Stefan O’Connor
    Another layer who was released by the Gunners this summer and the defender have now joined Newcastle United, the newly promoted club. He also was a regular of Arsenal U21 side but never made to the first team.
  • Dan Crowley and Kaylen Hinds  have left Arsenal permanently and have joined Willem II and Wolfsburg respectively. The former was signed from Villa as a 16 year old but never delivered as he promised. Hinds, the young striker on the other hand will seek pastures new in Germany now.
  • Two released reserve players of Arsenal haven’t yet managed to find a club. They are Swedish defender Kristopher Da Graca and Cyprian defender Kostas Pileas.
  • Japanese Striker Takuma Asano has been loaned for second consecutive season to German side Vfb Stuttgart while another academy graduate defender Marc Bola has joined Bristol Rovers on loan for the rest of the season.
