Premier League club Chelsea FC are closely monitoring Montreal Impact winger Jean-Yves Tabla.
It has been reported that Chelsea are keeping a close eye on the progress of the winger and are interested in bringing him to the club this summer.
Tabla has been impressive so far in his career, since progressing from the reserve team he scored on his first MLS start for Montreal Impact back in April. He has made 17 apperances so far for the Canadian side, who are sitting at eighth position in the Eastern Conference Table.
Chelsea FC have been tipped off by club legend Didier Drogba in order to sign the player, Drogba thinks that the young winger has the potential to be something huge and believes it could happen if Antonio Conte takes the player under his wing at Stamford Bridge.
Sources have claimed that Drogba has worked with the player during his time at Montreal. Meanwhile French Ligue 1 side, Lillie and Austrain club Red Bull Salzburg are also considering signing the player this transfer window, Tabla is still under contract with Montreal Impact till 2018.
Tabla, who was born in Ivory Coast has represented Canada at a youth level. The winger has been called up to the Canada national team but is yet to play his first match for The Reds, it has also been reported that Tabla wants to continue his allegiance to the Ivory Coast national team, which may eventually lead him to play for the Cote d’Ivoire national side in the future.
For many years, Montreal Impact have been waiting for a homegrown player to emerge in their ranks who could be a regular starter for the team but it seems like they finally have found their man in Tabla and it seems like he will be breakthrough player to watch out for in the upcoming years weather it is with the Canadian side or with Chelsea FC.
