Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has responded to the transfer speculations that have been circulating around Ivan Perisic.

It has been reported that Inter Milan star, Ivan Perisic has been offered a big money move to Manchester United this summer but the Inter Milan director has ruled out the move.

In a recent interview with Sky Sport Italia, Ausilio said that Perisic is not leaving Milan and the move proposed by the Premier League giants is “not going to happen.”

Ausilio stated that: “It is not going to happen; he has been training very well with us.”

He also claims that they have not considered any of the bids that has been offered so far. The Red Devils have already offered two bids for the player, both of them being turned down in recent weeks. It has been understood that the recent bid was of a total of 39 million.

After two bids being turned down, it is being reported that United are ready to offer a total of 45 million in pursuit of the Croatian player.

The Red Devils are hoping to land the player to Manchester within the next few weeks but by the looks of it, it seems that Inter are very determined that they will be able to keep the number 44 in Milan.

Perisic, who signed for Inter back in 2015 from Bundesliga club VFL Wolfsburg has made a total of 70 appearances for the Nerazzurri and has scored a total of 18 goals.

In the previous season, Perisic managed to score a total of 11 goals and 12 assists in all competitions. Inter captain Mauro Icardi says that the player should not be forced to stay at the club and should make his own decisions, he also hopes that the club does not goes against the player’s wishes.

In a interview with Mediaset, Icardi said: “”It’s not something we talk about within the dressing room, it is something he must think about by himself.”

He also added that if the player is not happy to stay here, then he must leave. The Inter captain hopes that the Croatian works everything out and should do what makes him happy and think about himself.
