Manchester United striker faced criminal charges in Los Angles


The Manchester United supporters might be in the cloud nine after their capture of Belgian star Romelu Lukaku however, the striker himself had to face a tough time last week at his holiday destination Los Angles.

The newly Manchester United recruit last week faced a troublesome moment after the striker was arrested with a criminal charge for hosting a party that rolled out of control in his Beverly Hills mansion and.

According to reports, Lukaku was warned five times for playing and circling loud pieces of music in his mansions and when the situation did not improve, the authority gave a “misdemeanour citation’ to the 24-year-old.

A Los Angles police report described the incident fully in a statement and it quoted that although the striker was not handcuffed or booked for the crime, he has to later come to Court for further hearing in October 2nd mostly.

The statement read: “On July 2, 2017, at approximately 8:00 PM, Beverly Hills Police Department officers arrested a 24-year-old male subject by the name of Romelu Lukaku Bolingoli. Bolingoli received a misdemeanour citation for Beverly Hills Municipal Code Violation 5-1-104 – Excessive Noise.

“The citation was issued after officers responded to five other noise complaints from the same location, which resulted in verbal warnings. These noise violations occurred at a residence in Beverly Hills where Bolingoli was temporarily residing. Bolingoli was released at the scene with the citation and was not physically arrested.

“Bolingoli is scheduled to appear at the Los Angeles Airport Courthouse on October 2, 2017.”

Lukaku scored 25 goals in 37 Premier League games for the Toffees last season and had also been a top target for Chelsea but it is the Manchester giant who finally acquired his signature.

Earlier Saturday, Manchester United confirmed that a deal for Lukaku’s transfer from Everton had been agreed and now the move is just waiting for medical and personal terms which will see Lukaku head to Old Trafford in a reported 75 million pounds.

The attacker is currently holidaying with close friend and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in the United States and will join the United squad this week who went California on Sunday to start their upcoming pre-season tour.
