Sources in Italy have confirmed that Serie A champions Juventus are interested in signing Chelsea FC midfielder Nemanja Matic and have been tracking the Serbian for a while now.

Juve have been closely monitoring the player’s current situation with the player yet to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge. Matic is entering his last two years at the club and it is still not sure if Chelsea will extend his contract.

It has also been reported that Chelsea are interested in bringing AS Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko which has started to raise questions regarding Matic’s future at Chelsea.

The player who has made over 40 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea has scored two goals and provided nine assists over the course of last season, helping Chelsea win their second Premier League title within the course of three years.

However, despite playing a very supportive role in Chelsea’s quest to the title Matic has found himself down the pecking order in Antonio Conte’s plans.

Italian outlet Calcio Mercato has claimed that the Old Lady are indeed interested in signing the 28 year old. Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly looking to strengthen his midfield by adding Matic, to support the likes of Sami Khedira, Claudio Marchisio and Mario Lemina.

Allegri would also look to strengthen his squad, after his midfield was exposed in the 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final. Juve have held a long term interest in bringing in Matic to Turin and will try their best to lure the Serbian away from London.

Premier League club Manchester United are also interested in bringing in Matic, former Blues boss Jose Mourinho is also keen on a reunion with Matic.

The Portugese manager who also brought back Matic to Chelsea from Benfica three and a half years ago for a transfer fee of 21 million is heavily interested in reuniting with the Serbian but this time at Old Trafford. Matic, however is considering renewing his contract at Stamford Bridge till 2019.
