Transfer: Manchester United open talks to sign €100 million Star, Chelsea also in the line

Belotti has attracted interest from Europe’s elite and a summer move to Premier League could happen soon.

Manchester United have made communications with Serie A side Torino, over the possible signing of €100 million star striker Andrea Belotti, according to reports.

The Red Devils have reportedly met the officials of Torino for Belotti and have proposed a big money initial offer for the 23-year-old striker. It is understood that the English giants are possibly ready to spend €70m to €75m to take Belotti to Old Trafford in the next Summer.

However, the Striker recently has signed a new contract until 2021 and is reportedly rated €100 million by his club if he wishes to move outside Italy. Belotti has been in super form this season as the Torino frontman has already scored 25 goals in 31 Serie A appearances so far including one hat trick.

Jose Mourinho has lost his striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in a long term injury as the big Swedish suffered a horrible ACL injury in their Europa league match against Anderlecht. Ibrahimovic will be sidelined until next November and his Manchester United career may have become over. In this situation, the Portuguese boss reportedly has determined to add two strikers to his squad and has set his sights on signing Torino star Andrea Belotti in the summer and another being Griezmann. The France international is Mourinho’s top target and United are also interested in signing the Atletico Madrid star in the Summer who also has a release clause of €100 million. However, Manchester United’s uncertainty over the possible return to Champions League could make the deal complicate as both the attacker supposedly want top European football.

Apart from Manchester United, Chelsea are also monitoring the situation of the striker. Antonio Conte is also reportedly targeting two new strikers at his disposal as Diego Costa is likely to leave Stamford Bridge in the Summer. The London side have chosen Romelu Lukaku and Andrea Belotti as their new alternatives in the attack and with Champions league in their hand and money to spend, the League leaders can surely afford both the players.
