Liverpool vs Plymouth will be a cakewalk for the Reds.


Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will be back in action on Sunday afternoon following a 2-2 draw against Sunderland and will welcome Football League two outfit Plymouth Argyle in the third round of Emirates FA Cup.

The Pilgrims defeated their league two counterpart Newport County and earned a historical outing against the Premier League giants who have conquered the silverware for seven occasions so far.

Liverpool are set to miss a number of key players with injury concerns. Philippe Coutinho, Joel Matip, Daniel Sturridge , James Milner and skipper Jordan Henderson won’t be risked before their major League Cup semifinal visit to St. Mary’s against Southampton and Premier League away trip over Manchester United at Old Trafford. New signing Marko Grujic is a doubt with tendon injury. Danny Ings is out for the remainder of the campaign with another unfortunate knee injury whereas, Sadio Mane, the Senegalese winger, has joined national camp  for the African Cup of Nations.
However, Klopp is expected to rest his first team regulars against the League Two  outfit and will hand opportunity to academy graduates. Youngster Joe Gomez might make his much awaited return after remaining sidelined for more than a year with ACL injury, so is Sheyi Ojo, who was out injured following a promising pre-season campaign.
Derek Adams, the Plymouth manager, has reported there were no new injuries for the Pilgrims ahead of the third round tie from the 1-0 League Two defeat at Barnet.

Graham Carey, the former Celtic midfielder, is in flying form for the Pilgrims scoring 10 goals and assisting nine times altogether. They are currently second in the league table and Carey’s excellence is guiding them towards a promotion.
