The Spanish international moved from UCL winner Real Madrid to the dominant French champions PSG this Summer on a five-year-deal in the wake of getting more playing time.

The former Spain Under-21 universal who has scored 18 times in 96 appearances for the Real Madrid however, has just scored once in nine association appearances for PSG this season and played only 17 minutes of the club’s Champions League group stage battle.

Earlier the French giants club president also confirmed the move as a failure and said they are ready to sell the player just after six months, without wasting his time here.

PSG president Al-Khelaifi said to Le Parisian: “(Unai) Emery said something very fair to me, which has always been my vision: ‘When you make a mistake, it’s better to try to correct it than to live with it.’

“So if we’ve made mistakes, we’ll try to correct them. The door isn’t closed.”

Liverpool will be without their star man Sadio Mane as the attacker will be on the international duty for nearly two months and the Liverpool boss has reportedly identified the Spanish international as the replacement. Jese can play in all the three positions in the front offensive system which suits Klopp’s style of play. So if the move finally materialises, both the party can be hopeful for a positive outcome.
