Manchester United midfielder still misses life at Juventus, claims his former Turin team-mate, Paulo Dybala.
Pogba spent four years in Turin with the Italian champions before returning to Old Trafford in a £89million deal in the summer. The France star won four Serie A titles in Italy after joining the Serie A giants from United in 2012. The midfielder left Manchester United for Juventus in for just £800,000 in return after turning down the offer of a new contract from Sir Alex Ferguson.
But since his return, both Pogba and Manchester United have struggled this season as the English giants are currently 13 points behind the league leaders Chelsea.
However, Pogba is seemed to have slowly settled in at United as the midfielder has scored five times in 22 appearances for Manchester United, including the opening goal and a further assist to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Wednesday’s 2-1 victory at Crystal Palace.
And now according to his former Argentine team-mate Dybala, the Frenchman and Juventus both miss the Manchester United man’s presence and says he is in regular contact with the France international.
“I’m still talking to Pogba,” Dybala told Corriere Dello Sport.
“We are missing him for his quality on the pitch and his jokes in the dressing room.
The Juventus man also threw a well placed cheeky jab at the struggling Manchester United after comparing the two club’s present standings in their particular league tables.
“However, he misses us as well,” said Dybala, “Just look at our position in the table and the one of Manchester United.”
Juventus are four points clear of Roma at the top of Serie A after 16 matches and look set for their sixth title in a row, while Manchester United are sixth in the Premier League and have not won the League for three years in a row and possibly could miss this year also.
