Chelsea are set to sign Rangers youngster Billy Gilmour who is rated as one of the most exciting prospects playing in Scottish football. Chelsea allegedly see Gilmour as a star of the future and want to wrap up a deal for the teenage sensation.
The 15-year-old Rangers and Scotland youngster has been linked with a number of Europe’s top clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona, however, the Blues have reportedly secured the wonder kid’s signature.
The under-16 midfielder is rated as one of the best young talents in Europe subsequent to dazzle for club and nation in the most recent one year.

According to reports, Gilmour spent a weekend ago in London for talks at Chelsea and to observe around the club’s departments as the Premier League leaders hope to convey the player to sign for the club.
The Scottish giants are keen to not to lose the talented teenager and their manager already stated that he is well aware of the situation and stated that he wants to keep him at Ibrox.
“Billy Gilmour is a product of the academy, and the academy work so, so hard,” the manager, Warburton said.
“I was at the Hall of Fame dinner and I heard Hugh McIlvanney speak about the need to produce two, three or four outstanding young talents.
“I think Billy Gilmour could well be one of those such talents.
“The English clubs and their scouting networks are such that they know all the players in Europe, basically, so there’s no secrets there.
“As always, with all the players, you have to showcase the benefits of staying with a club like Glasgow Rangers.”
Gilmour is under contract at Rangers until the end of the season, however, Chelsea are said to have offered Rangers £500,000 to sign Gilmour now rather than pay a compensation fee when he turns 16.
