Another gameweek has passed and like every other week, there is winners and there are losers. Chelsea are the biggest winners by winning ninth in a row and Manchester City are the sore losers after dropping points again to the Foxes.

Based on this week’s events, we have picked our top 5 talking points and here are they.

Italian touch over English delight

It was thought that Conte might take some time to get going in the Premier League, but the Chelsea boss is rallying through and through after winning 9 consecutive games. Chelsea has been a delight to watch and the Blues are evolving every week. Diego Costa has become the poacher in the box and is currently miles ahead of Aguero. Chelsea’s 1-0 win over West Brom has been a class apart performance where they found the goal they needed, just like the champions do.

Pep faces bitter truth of Premier League

The honeymoon is over for Manchester City when they has been bombed by harsh truths of Premier League. Dropping points to a team which is in the second half of the table, is not the style of Pep Guardiola. But it’s the beauty of the Premier League where Manchester City conceded 4 with keeping 76% possession.

Mkhitaryan is the trump card

It’s not Pogba, but it is Mkhitaryan. Mkhitaryan is the player that the the team needs. He has speed with brain and can adjust to the Premier League attitude quite soon. Manchester United has won at home after quite a long time and Mkhitaryan has definitely won over the crowd with his solo efforts in the game. Manchester United fans may starts dreaming again around their star studded squad.

Liverpool flunked in December

Liverpool were going well till the festive month begun. Liverpool were on the top in the November and then they started to drop points with Coutinho and Sturridge both out with injuries. Liverpool needs a prolific striker as Origi is not the best compliment to the midfield that they have. Loris Karius has again disappointed the team single handedly by letting go two easy goals. So, Liverpool are in a point of bother. They need influence up in front of the pitch or the game will just be dull with all the possession.

Arsenal in festive mood

After dropping few easy fixtures, Arsenal has been clearly back to the winning ways with Alexis Sanchez leading from the front. Arsenal is looking quite good with Lucas Perez getting in the rhythm. Their defense looks solid and they are not easily tempted now a days. They can keep up with the league leaders, but with Arsenal and February coming soon, you can never know.
