Mario Balotelli finally seems to have found his right place to improve as a player at Nice. He always was a raw talent and promised a lot, but his progress has struggled due to his off field issues and a disappointing mentality and attitude.
But so far this season, the Italian has done well at his new home in France. In an interview, former Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has revealed that he will not return to Anfield in the future, irrespective of whether or not the Reds want him. The Italian striker spent two seasons with Liverpool but it was more of a failure for him.
Mario so far has scored 6 goals for Nice and he is appreciated by the supporters. He has comeback into contention for Italy national team and hopefully he finally has started to deliver what he promised for so long. But the former Manchester City striker still has aspirations of making it back to the Premier League, and he prefers a move to Arsenal and Manchester City.
“For sure not Liverpool,” Balotelli told the Chinese news agency Xinhua, as quoted by ESPN, when asked which club he would prefer. “Because I find myself very bad in Liverpool. I said the team was good and the fans are amazing, but I would never go back to Liverpool.”
Balotelli also revealed that he would a prefer a move to either Manchester City or Arsenal because he likes both the clubs.
Balotelli also has aspirations and he cleared that he has the chance to win the Ballon d’Or if he stays fit and focused a whole season. He thinks that Ronaldo and Messi are the best in the business at present, but he himself has the quality to beat both of them if he produces at the optimum level.
