Video: Goal of the week from Premier League Gameweek 14

Alexis Sanchez, Heung Min Son and Mark Muniesa have taken the top three spots in this list.

A total of 37 goals were scored in the Premier League last week and some of them were really outrageous and admirable. There were three matches that involved 5 or more goals. Today we shall take a look at the best of the strikes from the previous gameweek in the Premier League.

5. Willian vs Manchester City

This was a battle of the Premier League top boys and Chelsea prevailed after a clinical performance. Though City took the lead, the Blues completed their comeback thanks to this run and stunning finish from Willian. He was released by Costa in the right and the Brazilian got the ball ahead of the defenders and finished exquisitely across the goal past Bravo to give Chelsea the lead.

4. Chamberlain vs West Ham

Arsenal were rampant at the London Stadium and the England midfielder scored a stunner to make it 4-1 for the Gunners. Ozil passed the ball and Chamberlain took two touches, made just a slight cut inside and stroke it beyond the reach of an outstretched Randolph.

3. Muniesa vs Burnley

This was the goal that gave the Potters a two goal cushion. Arnautovic played cleverly on the left flank before laying it for the Mark Muniesa, and the defender crisply connected the volley and gave no chance to the Burnley custodian Robinson. The goal that he scored obviously is a striker’s delight, and being a defender the strike was really laudable for the Spaniard.

2. Son vs Swansea

Another volley, this time it was a right footed one and an unexpected one. Korean striker Heung Min Son scored the second of the 5 goals against Spurs and it was exquisite to watch. The ball came to him in quick time after a deflection and he finished it superbly to the right of the keeper.

1. Alexis Sanchez vs West Ham

Alexis scored a Premier League hattrick at the London stadium and while all of his goals were nice to watch, his 3rd one has made a cut as the goal of the week. The reason why it is the best is the technique, quality and the composure. Oxlade Chamberlain threaded him through and Sanchez had enough speed to beat the Hammers defenders and then the composure to outfox the goalkeeper with a dummy and lob it over the diving custodian. The goal was surely a delight to watch as the Chilean continues his blistering form in the Premier League this season.
