Although, Chelsea led by star striker Diego Costa, have been successful so far in getting the ball into the back of the net on a consistent basis, the attack looks a bit shaky in case of an injury to Costa with Michy Batshuayi unsuccesful in impressing the gaffer so far. Batshuayi who made a 30 million move from Marseille in the summer has not been given a start in any league game this season .Though Michy has been able to deliver the goods whenever brought on as a sub, Conte will be looking to sign Muriel up in order to add more fire-power to the attack.

Many experts have claimed that Conte will look to swoop and sign players who have been impressive in the Serie A, considering his vast experience ,having managed the national team to great success in the past.
With Antonio Conte looking to purchase players who can perform as per his gameplan , Luis Muriel presents an effective option to pursue considering the fact that the Colombian was voted as Serie A’s “Best Young Player“ in 2012 and can effectively perform on the right also. A 24 million sum has been demanded which is not excessive considering he is just 25 years old and has the ability to make the premier league fans dance to his tunes. His stats in the current season are extremely impressive, having registered 6 goals and 5 assists to his name already.
