Chelsea want to sign promising Inter Milan youth product Andrea Pinamonti, according to reports. The report states that Chelsea have ventured up their quest for the striker, in the midst of interest from Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen.
According to the Daily Mirror, Inter do not want to lose the player and Inter’s director of sport Piero Ausilio has already offered the player a new contract to tie him down to a new deal with a high release clause. However, getting Pinamonti out of Inter would cost around to £400,000 right now.
Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen are also keeping tabs on the promising striker but Chelsea would likely be able to outbid the German and Italian side in both transfer offer and contract terms.
Andrea Pinamonti is a member of Inter Milan’s U19 team and has been on sparkle this season in the Italian U19 league,Primavera C, by scoring 11 goals and assisting 1 in just 9 matches. The 17-year-old has made headlines as part of Inter Milan’s youth set-up and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is now said to be interested in a potential offer for the player. Conte is well aware of Pinamonti’s ability from his time as Italy boss as the starlet also has represented his country at U17 level.
Roman Abramovich is set to hand Conte a big transfer money for January transfer window should he choose to add players to the squad that has as of now splendidly climbed to the Premier League spot.
The Italian who turns 18 in May, have to fight for his spot as Michy Batshuayi, Tammy Abraham, Dominic Solanke and Bertrand Traore all are aspiring to be the next frontman behind Diego Costa.
