Gabriel (6.5/10): Very good against Payet, top notch as right-back, full commitment, good on the ball. Stepped up in injury crisis.

Shkodran Mustafi (7/10): Solid defending, yet to lose a match for Arsenal, 11 wins and 5 draws in the process. Registered a fine assist as he set up Sanchez’s first goal. Cleared a dangerous Payet delivery in the 45th minute.

Laurent Koscielny (7/10): Fantastic, won 100% of his aerial duels in the opening 60 minutes vs. West Ham. His game stats- 87% pass accuracy, 8 clearances, 6 interceptions and 4 tackles won. Yet to lose a match for Arsenal with Mustafi.

Nacho Monreal (8/10): The left back made Fernandes dance to his tunes, surged forward with great effect.

Francis Coquelin (7/10): The energetic defensive midfielder won balls at the midfield, recycled ball possession. His game stats read- 100% take-ons completed, 43 passes completed, 6 interceptions, 4 tackles and won 2 clearances.

Granit Xhaka (7/10): Steel. Won many tackles, ran further than any other Arsenal player with the highest average speed. Misplaced just one pass in the first half. His first half stats- 96% Passing accuracy, 27 Passes, 5.9 km covered, 7.9 km/h speed and 5 possessions gained.

Theo Walcott (5/10): Poor by his standards.

Mesut Ozil (8/10): The maestro of a creator pulled the strings, scored the opener as he scored the most goals for Arsenal in his club career. Misplaced just two passes.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (8/10): Superb strike with positive and influential display.

Alexis Sanchez (9/10): Man of the match, scored a treble. His match in a nutshell: 5 shots, 5 chances created, 3 take-ons, 3 goals and 1 assist
