Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur : Preview, Lineups, Betting Odds and Live Streaming

Antonio Conte, the newly appointed Chelsea boss, has turned around the Blues’ season after a few initial stumbles as they are currently on a streak of six consecutive victories in Premier League and placed in top of the table with 28 points from 12 outings ahead of their mega clash against London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs are the only unbeaten Premier League side so far this season (6W 6D) and placed fifth in the league table only 4 points behind the table toppers.

Chelsea have managed to secure six consecutive clean-sheets as well since Conte shifted his side to 3-4-3 formation which has worked as a masterstroke so far including 3-0, 4-0 and 5-0 thrashing of Leicester City, Manchester United and Everton at Stamford Bridge. Pochettino’s men will face the toughest challenge so far to maintain their unbeaten streak this Saturday evening.

Chelsea vs Spurs Injury and Suspension Update:

No European football along with early exit from League Cup have decreased the excessive pressure of consecutive games and helped the Blues to remain fit for weekend outings. Only Kurt Zouma and Marco Van Ginkel are unavailable who are back in full training after long term injuries.

Spurs, on the other hand, will miss a few crucial first team players due to injuries and suspension. Erik Lamela is unavailable with hip injury whereas defender Ben Davies and Toby Alderweireld will be out with respective ankle and knee injuries. Left-back Danny Rose, too, will miss the game as he is suspended for the fixture after collecting five yellow cards so far in domestic competitions.

Chelsea vs Spurs Key Players:

Chelsea duo Diego Costa and Eden Hazard are proving to be match winners and replicating their form of 2014-15 campaign that helped Chelsea to lift the Premier League trophy. David Luiz, surprisingly, has been a wall so far in the middle of Conte’s back three. Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso are providing enough defensive cover as well as attacking intent week in week out.

Spurs are back in winning ways after a hard-fought victory over West Ham United last week despite falling behind a couple of times. Harry Kane is back among goals and Christian Eriksen is providing lots of creativity in midfield. Spurs will mostly rely on these two to challenge their rivals this weekend.

Chelsea vs Spurs Last Meeting:

Their last meeting at Stamford Bridge occurred on 2nd May where Spurs were having a two goals lead at the end of the first half via Harry Kane and Son Heung-min against an under-performing Chelsea side. However, the Blues pulled one back when Gary Cahill netted around 58 minutes mark. Eden Hazard then scored the equalizer quite late into the game to end Spurs’ first title dream since 1961.
