Chelsea man in charge Antonio Conte has praised his striker Diego Costa as one of the best strikers in the world after resolving the issues regarding the anger of the former.

The 28 year old Spanish international had received lots of criticism for his on field violent displays towards the opponent players and the referees previously. As a result, the Chelsea striker was often sent off followed by few match suspension causing his team struggle a lot.

However, according to the reports, Conte has stated that Costa can be considered as one of the best strikers in the world as he has cut his anger down towards the opponent players and the referees. Moreover the Spanish striker has been improving day by day.

“Diego is showing he can control himself, It’s fantastic”, Conte said, “Diego is improving a lot under a lot of aspects. For me now, Diego is one of the best strikers in the world.”

The Italian manger has revealed that the striker has been working hard in training to explore his best game. “He must continue that, working in this way, with his commitment and work-rate. It’s fantastic to see his work during the games, but also in training”, he explained, “If he continues to score, I’ll be very happy. But I’ll be happier to see this commitment, this work-rate during training and in games, to work with the team with and without the ball.”

Comparing the Chelsea star Eden Hazard, the Chelsea manager has praised the on field performance of Costa and described him as an example for all the other teammates. “Diego is a very good player. The same for Eden. It’s important for me, for their team-mates, to see that in every game, Diego works a lot with the ball and without the ball. He’s an example for all. And I want to continue this way”, he explained.

Conte is very confident about the commitment of the players in his team. As he has said, “If all the players are able to think in this way, it’s fantastic and we’ll be a good team, a very tough team to play”

Diego Costa has started this season in a very positive manner for the Blue side from the West London as the Spanish international has already scored nine goals in his eleven Premier League appearances. He also continued his run for his team in the away fixture against Middlesbrough on Sunday, scoring the solitary goal of the match and taking Chelsea to the top of the Premier League table.
