After a tedious couple of weeks of international football, Premier League is back in action once again and league leaders Liverpool are set to contest in a tricky away fixture against Southampton – a side known to be the feeder club of the Reds.

Winger Sadio Mane and defensive duo Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren are set to return at St Mary’s in different colors to face their former employers. However, in form Adam Lallana, who arrived from the Saints a couple of years back, is supposed to miss the trip due to groin injury that he suffered during England’s friendly outing against Spain.

Claude Puel’s side has slipped down to 10th place in the league table after two back to back defeats over Chelsea and Hull City. However, the new Southampton boss is determined to turn things around against the Reds despite claiming the later as title favorites.
