Fantasy Premier League : Tips, suggestions and injury updates before GW12

After two weeks of international action, finally, the Fantasy Premier League managers will be back in business and what an awesome weekend awaits us!

This Premier League gameweek will kick off with the exhilarating clash of two heavyweight teams – Arsenal and Manchester United. While the match may bring forth interesting surprises for the Fantasy Premier League managers, from just a footballing point of view, it holds every promise to be a delight for the Premier League lovers. On the other hand, in another scintillating Saturday fixture, Liverpool and Southampton will lock horns against each other and Jurgen Klopp will look forward to ease past the Saints to maintain their position at the zenith. Elsewhere, Manchester City, Everton, Chelsea and Tottenham expect to snatch three points against weaker opponents.

Injury updates:

Along with Kasper Schmeichel (LEI), Watford custodian Heurelho Gomes are the two first team goalkeepers who may miss gameweek 12 due to injuries. On the other hand, two of the most popular Fantasy Premier League defenders, Hector Bellerin (ARS), Eric Bailly (MUN) and Toby Alderweireld (TOT) are still out injured and it might be a good idea to show them off. Jose Holebas (WAT) and Adam Smith (BOU) are suspended for one game and will make a return on 27th November. However, Cedric Soares (SOU) will be back after a long absence and Antonio Valencia (MUN) may also feature in the first team sooner than expected. Among others, George Friend (MID), Luke Shaw (MUN) and Ryan Bertrand (SOU) are doubtful.

So far as the midfielders are concerned, two biggest news are probably those of Eden Hazard (CHE) and Alexis Sanchez (ARS). The Belgian is not yet fully fit, but he should start against Middlesbrough on Sunday. The Arsenal midfielder has also played his part for the national side after getting an injury last week, and Arsene Wenger is expected to hand him a starting berth against United. However, Santi Cazorla (ARS) and Adam Lallana (LIV) will not play this week. Among others, Nacer Chadli (WBA), Dele Alli (TOT) and Dusan Tadic (SOU) are doubtful, while Gareth Barry (EVE) will be suspended for one match.

Manchester United’s hero from the last gameweek, Zlatan Ibrahmovic, will sit this important Arsenal clash out, because of a suspension. Callum Wilson (BOU) and Diego Costa (CHE) are also unsure while reports suggest that the latter will be able to play against Boro.

Tips and suggestions:

After this week’s clash at St. Mary’s, Liverpool players are expected to have easier time against some minnows of the league and so, in form magician Philippe Coutinho should be included in your side. In addition, it is high time you consider Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Dejan Lovren or Nathaniel Clyne as well.

On the other hand, except for two away fixtures against Everton and Manchester City, Arsenal will also enjoy cakewalks in the upcoming games after this Saturday. And so, a good idea would be to save your free transfer this week, only to use two transfers before gameweek 13 to buy a couple of effective gunners – Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny and Petr Cech being some options.

The two Manchester sides, Chelsea and Tottenham can have some ups and downs in near future. From a Fantasy Premier League viewpoint, it might be good idea not to have defenders from these sides. But, Diego Costa, Hazard, Kevin de Bruyne or Sergio Aguero continue to be top choices up front. Harry Kane has also returned from injury and scored a goal right away. He will be a good option to include in your side.

And finally, Joe Allen (STO), Johnny Evans (WBA), Eric Pieters (STO), Matt Phillips (WBA), Salomon Rondon (WBA), Sam Vokes (BUR) and Troy Deeney (WAT) are some budget options to consider.

Fantasy Premier League captain:

Once again, Aguero should be one of the most popular choices for the Fantasy Premier League managers out there. The statistics that the Argentine scored braces in three of his four away games and that Crystal Palace lost three of their five home games this season make a stronger case for the Manchester City forward. However, we would also suggest you to consider Hazard, Costa or Kane in case you want have them in your ranks.
