The Masters Champions League is expected to get off to a flying start on the 28th of January when legends of the yesteryear renew old rivalries. The tournament will be consisting of six teams and will be played in the three international stadiums which include Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The entire cricket world is excited about the tournament as it brings together some of the greatest players to have ever played the game.

The tournament will go on till 13th February when it will host its final match at the Dubai International stadium.
The tournament which promises to be a New Year extravaganza will get off to an awesome start on the 28th of January when the two Indian Legends fight it out against each other in the opening game of the inaugural edition of the tournament. Virender Sehwag of the Gemini Arabians will be up against Sourav Ganguly of the Libra Legends. The kind of form both these legends showed during the All-Stars tournament certainly makes this battle a one to look out for.
Both the teams consist of some of the greatest cricketers of the bygone era. Libra Legends specially looks a more bowling heavy team with the likes of Shaun Tait, Brad Hogg, and Ryan Sidebottom playing for them. Their batting too has some stalwarts of the game. Sourav Ganguly, Jacques Kallis, Taufeeq Umar and Marcus North certainly add fire to their batting line-up. Gemini Arabians on the other hand boasts of a destructive batting line-up with the likes of Virender Sehwag, Kumar Sangakkara, Brad Hodge, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Richard Levi in their ranks. They too have a stable looking bowling line-up with legends like Saqlain Mushtaq, Mutthiah Muralitharan and Rana Naved playing for them.
