Alexis Sanchez turns 27 today and on his birthday, we look back at a few of the wonderful goals scored by the Chilean winger in his entire career. Have a watch and enjoy!

Barcelona vs Real Madrid (2013) :

It was the first El Clasico of the season and Alexis Sanchez just produced a beauty to secure victory for the Catalan club. After being released by Neymar, Alexis was one on one with Raphael Varane. He cut back and lifted a wonderful chip out of the reach of Diego Lopez from about 20 yards. Barca won the match 2-1, with Neymar scoring the first for Barcelona and Jese Rodriguez grabbing a consolation for Madrid at the dying moments of the match.

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid (2014) :

It was the last match of the season in La Liga, and Atletico were at the top of the league three points ahead of Barca. However, a win at Camp Nou would have seen Barca win the league on head to head record. Barcelona started slowly, however Alexis Sanchez scored a sensational strike to give them the lead in this important fixture. Cesc Fabregas put a ball in the penalty box which was chested by Lionel Messi, and Sanchez stroke a superb volley which squeezed in past the near post of Thiabaut Courtois.

Atletico levelled just after the break through Diego Godin, and the match ended on 1-1 which saw Atletico lift the La Liga for the first time since 1996. The Blaugarana had a barren run that year winning no trophy at all.

Arsenal vs Dortmund (2014) :

The summer saw Alexis Sanchez move from Barcelona to Arsenal, where the Chilean did not take much time to fit in with the squad and become their go to man. A single point would have seen the Gunners qualifying for the round of 16, while a point for Juergen Klopp’s men would ensure a top spot finish in the group. Arsenal could not have had a better start as Yaya Sanogo scored for them in the 73rd second of the match to give them the lead. Alexis Sanchez then scored a beauty near the hour mark to double the lead. Santi Cazorla switched the ball over to Sanchez who cut inside and put a well placed curling shot in the far corner beyond the reach of Roman Weidenfeller to ensure a place in the round of 16 for the Gunners for yet another year.

Arsenal vs Manchester City (2014) :

Arsenal faced Manchester City in the league and looked forward to beat them to change their recent run of performances in important clashes. Danny Welbeck nearly put Arsenal ahead, but his shot came off the post. Sergio Aguero put City ahead against the run of play when he tapped home a minus from Jesus Navas. City went into the break leading. However Arsenaal came out with all guns blazing in attack in the second half, and equalized via a wonderful team goal by Jack Wilshere. Arsenal went ahead when Sanchez scored a stunning volley into the top corner. Arsenal were looking to wrap up all three points after that but a Martin Demichelis equalizer, seven minutes from time, meant that both team had to share points.

Arsenal vs Manchester United (2015) :

Arsenal had won only one out of the previous 13 Premier League fixtures against Manchester United and went into the game looking to change things. They came into the game after suffering a shock 3-2 defeat at home to Olympiacos which had put a real question mark in their Champions League hopes. However Arsenal came with all guns blazing in the first half and went ahead 3-0 within 19 minutes courtesy two Alexis Sanchez specials and a Mesut Ozil goal. Sanchez put Arsenal ahead in the 6th minute after a sublime finish off the back of his boot. The Gunners doubled their lead in the very next minute when Mesut Ozil put it past David de Gea after being set up Theo Walcott. Arsenal went 3 up in the 19th minute almost deciding the game when Sanchez unleashed a superb shot into the top corner. Arsenal won the game 3-0 in a one sided encounter and Alexis two goals in the opening 20 minutes all but decided the game.
