Premier League clubs find their opponents after Champions League and Europa League Draw


Only last week, final group stage match of UEFA Champions League took place. It has been a decent campaign for the Premier League clubs. Manchester United were the only unsuccessful club as they were knocked out at the hands of Wolfsburg. Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea managed to make it through to the next round.

First legs will take place on 16-17 and 23-24 February. Return legs will be held on 8-9 and 15-16 March. After that, the Quarter Final draw will take place on 18th March and the semifinal lineup will be drawn on 15th April. In the second round, the winners of each group, including Chelsea and Manchester City, will play at home in the second legs. On the other hand, runner-up teams including Arsenal will host their first leg at the home ground.

The detailed draw for the Champions League are given below. Once again, Chelsea have been drawn against Paris St-Germain. This is the third consecutive season where the Blues will face the French club. Arsenal have a tough fixture against Spanish giants Barcelona. Two top matches of the second round are surely going to be Roma versus Real Madrid and Juventus versus Bayern Munich.

The draw for the UEFA Europa League were declared too. The first legs of the Europa League are scheduled on Thursday, 18 February, while the return ties will take place a week later.

All three English Premier League clubs will be at home for the second leg since they were seeded. Manchester United finished third in their Champions League group. On the other hand, Tottenham and Liverpool qualified after winning Group J and B of the Europa League group league respectively.
