Fathers always have high expectations from their children and that expectation will increase manifold when the son shows that he has the potential to become a star. And sometimes, it’s all in the genes and the son just fills his dad’s shoes and carry the legacy.
Well, that’s what happens to David Beckham and his son Brooklyn Beckham. The Manchester United legend donned the red shirt for years and is revered to be one of the best midfielders to grace this world. His eldest son, Brooklyn is also a budding talent in the field and his best moment came when he substituted his father in UNICEF Charity match only a couple of weeks ago. Brooklyn had the chance to play alongside legends like Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, Ryan Giggs and others.
However, the son has been making the headlines for news not related to football. Self-proclaimed “sexiest man alive” Brooklyn proved his bond with his mother Victoria just the other day. And now, he has made it to the front page because of a social media affair. To be truthful, it was his dad who instigated the media attention.
The young lad has already had a horde of followers in Instagram and in a naive juvenile attempt to play it cool, he posted a photo of himself in a pseudo-sleepy style with the caption, “Rocking the old school Ralph Lauren.”
Quite expectedly, the photo went viral and had several thousands likes in no time. But then, the dad, with a few more followers to his name, thought of attracting attention and make it uncomfortable for his son.
David Beckham stepped up and put a simple comment on that post, “That’s my jumper.”
That was funny! Everything was going well for Brooklyn until his father came up with that comment. David Beckham proved that he can act more cool than his offspring.
